All good at this end at Birchwood and the new library.

I started looking - I am getting the same thing at Birchwood AND Valdez. I have since removed the mesh, unclicked SAK in the library, and uninstalled Vector and it is still messed up. Something is screwed big time. It's like I probably could remove 1/2 of FSX and it would still show the same! LOL! I can't wait to see what ORBX says. Very strange. Funny that these things are disappearing on all three of us.

This is going to be one file that's out of place I think. I assume you've disabled all your other 3rd party scenery while checking this out and have only Orbx enabled? Of course, that doesn't explain the weirdness you see with the Vector Configuration Tool (and I do mean, "tool!").

Here is a cut n' paste concerning UTX and other LC from Holger on the ORBX site. A question on where your FSX is installed? Did you let it install in (X86) folder? If so I have read many times that it will just cause grief in that location. Do you have files on another HD from FSX. I K.I.S.S. my install FSX is C:\FSX and I let ORBX installers place the files (except for LC which as I said before mis-places those files) Additionally I noticed someone had their OZx entries at the very top of their library. Usually they reside immediately above the ORBX/FTX entries. Any scenery/airports that are in ORBX regions should be placed above the ORBX files to prevent any excludes, flatten etc. in ORBX from effecting addon non-ORBX scenery.
Hi Joop,
UT Alaska uses a different approach to placing urban areas than other products in the UTX series. As mentioned in the UT Alaska manual one cannot have other landclass products active at higher display priority or their approach won't work correctly. Thus, you either need to deactivate the UT Alaska landclass entries in your scenery library menu (I believe you can also do this via the UT control panel) or deactivate the openLC NA entries while flying in Alaska.
It may be possible to place the UT Alaska landclass entries at higher display priority than the Orbx openLC block but it may lead to local display issues due to mixed-up openLC and UTX textures. Perhaps other users have tested this and can provide feedback.
Cheers, Holger

I took all of that out UTX and UTA when I got the Vector, Base, and Global. Totally removed from the system. Spud, I posted over at ORBX. I am anxious to see what they say. This is one to follow as this all happened very strangely.

Well, I do have an answer as to what is wrong (it's a bit technical so you may not follow completely, but hopefully it will help anyway): It's broke. You're most welcome (I heard that )

I dumped everything except for FSX. I have added in Vector Base and Vector. It also grabbed the update and I now have FTX Central2 along with the newest update. I had to disable Valdez and Birchwood - all is fine so far. This is still default. I am going to add in the Pilot Mesh next. It's looking positive, but I have seen this before.

Step-by-step report - Pilot's Mesh installed and checked. All is still good. Next to add in SAK. This is the tell-all.

So close! I started to install things back. I installed SAK, but manually had to add it into the library. I checked it, all was GREAT! I then loaded out No. Rockies. Again, I had to manually add it into the library. All was still good. Sweet! Making progress!! Loaded up Pacific Fjords, went to add it to the library - the other two WERE GONE!!! I figured that if each time I loaded something out, I would lose the previous, I would add them all in and then click OK to activate them all at once. That sort of worked. None dropped off. HOWEVER, when I go to PABV, the airport and river have trees all over them. I have water tiles all over the place. Something is screwed!. I then disabled ALL the scenery and still had the trees. This machine has to be reading what is on one of your computers, because it isn't on mine. WTF, over!!!! What a damned mess.
