OK, try dropping your mesh to the very bottom. I know that goes against what the "guide" says, but I'm pretty sure that's where mine is residing. After all, it's what everything else is built on.

No good. Something is very wrong. I don't believe it is actually reading the mesh. I may drop it for a day or so. Getting nowhere fast! Pisses me off that it was working so well until I installed that crap Miami scenery.

Hmmm, I don't see ANY ORBX full fat regions listed in Fritz's or your scenery library at all? Are you both using the library tool to show your library entries as they aren't screenshots like Glenn's. If so perhaps it doesn't show the FTX entries for the regions??? Have no clue why that would be as I don't use the program due to the fact I could never find any documentation on how to use it. The FTX_AA_XXXX are ORBX airports and not the regions. I just plug away with moving files around individually in the Library. FWIW I have 445 entries in my FSX Library and I do not have any of British Isles stuff, only Norway in Europe. My loading time for a cold computer start and then loading FSX is about 3-5 min. for the initial load. After that it does load faster (2-3 min.) if I have to restart for some reason.

As far as MESH is concerned it doesn't matter where its located in the Library or how many different MESHES you have installed because FSX will use which ever MESH is the most detailed for what every area your flying in. The HOLGERMESH is for Australia scenery and normally it is placed at the top of the FTX block of entries by the installer. I'm still wondering why you don't show any FTX regions in your library??!

I once had a problem with the grass around my PAJN. Sometimes crabs too. But the doctor gave me some cream and one of those little combs and that fixed it. Thank goodness!

Don, I have the 2010 FTX Compatible MESH in the same location as yours just above the four VECTOR entries. I see your showing the SAK region so that isn't a factor. Here is a screenshot of my PAVD and it looks the same with the airport either enabled or disabled but it is on the disabled side of the Configuration Tool normally. The elevation issues your showing are not showing for me. I do NOT have any UTX files in my sim and I have read on the ORBX site that UTX can cause problems for some places but as I don't use it I can't really remember all of what was said.

" But the doctor gave me some cream and one of those little combs and that fixed it." That's not what I heard Man, sorry to hear you're having so much trouble. I'm kind of out of ideas at this point. I guess sticking it on Orbx's forum is probably the best way to go now. They are pretty good at figuring this stuff out.

I am not running UTX. To me, it's as if the Global Mesh is loaded, but it isn't working. I have tried it enabled and disabled. No difference. Something isn't doing its job, but is appearing to be there. Very confused at this point. Everything is as it was a week ago when everything was fine. What is really strange, is when I run Auto-Configuration, it DELETES the ORBX scenery (SAK will go bye-bye) and I will have default.Crazy!! BP

I just put my picture and Spud's picture side by side. My mesh isn't working, and the textures are different. While it appears to be in my library and it is checked as activated, I don't think it's working. Let me keep on working. That would explain why I can move Global ANTWHERE, top, middle, bottom, and NOTHING happens! Hmmmm........

This is just weird. I wish I had something for you. I think it's time to hit Orbx's forum though my friend. They've probably seen this before and will have an instant answer for you.

Yeah, I'll be interested.
It seems almost all of us are having issues now. See my post here. I just don't have the time to go and try to fix it though, unless someone knows of an easy fix for that.

OK - this is making sense now - bear with me - did you and Fritz have the chicken or the fish?? No - wait - did you two update the most recent library update? I did. I am wondering if this may have a bearing on it because that would be the only possible thing that all three of us would have touched. Just a thought.

I had the hamster. What??? Anyway, yes, I updated the libraries. No issues (in that respect) from that, although now I'm going to go situate myself at Birchwood and see. BRB.
