There is a lot of 'grabbers' who find FS sites strictly to get any downloads available and then disappear.

Not to worry Don. After all the first sign of old age is... is... uhh... ummnn... Well, I forget, but the second sign is repeating yourself. You aren't doing that, so you must be ok. Besides, you aren't the first person who's lost a post here .

Iago - I approved you - you never posted. I sent you e-mail and you never answered or posted. I asked you to read the rules, you didn't. Sorry.

Hi Bushpounders! Just found your site after someone mentioned this site in the Return to Misty Moorings forums which I'm a long time fan of bushflying. I'm an occasional flight simmer mostly during my day-offs or on weekends when I can squeeze some down time from work, family, post grad school, etc. I primarily enjoy flying "low and slow" with rotorcraft and a few bushplanes mostly in Alaska, the Rockies and PNW/BC regions. Unfortunately, there isn't much buzz about bushflights or flight-seeing nowadays as I have observed on various VAs or MP communities I visit compared to routine, airport to airport long-haul flight with tubeliners or GA aircraft. Others prefer military jets with tac-packs blowing up targets on the sky or ground. I hope to pop in here from time to time to get abreast on what's going particularly on with the bushflying genre of flightsimming when I can. Thanks again for maintaining a site about bushflying!

Let me be the first - got a good experience level here both in real life flying and flight simming. Every once in a while a tall story but 'grains of salt' come with membership.

Thanks guys! Sue, technically helos are VTOLs and the ultimate bushcraft since no runways or waterways are needed as long as there's an LZ that's about 2x the diameter of its main rotors or elevated platforms that could fit its skids and carry its weight plus the pilot, passengers, cargo and fuel ;-)

Greetings, Bushflyer! (Heh, heh, heh, another ... uh, ... member. ) P.S. Technically, a helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces and controls working in opposition to each other.
