Flysimware - Update & New Info

As I posted earlier, I got the Lear 35 from Flysimware. Out of the box it had all kinds of problems, including OOM's. You can read my full thread in this forum to be brought up to date.

Things have changed however. I ripped them royally over several things but I do have to hand it to them. They actually did listen and those of us with OOM's convinced them that it was to do with their airplane. So they got to work and made quite a few changes in quite a few areas (not just to do with OOM's) and I have to say, this airplane has gone from being a total disaster to being one of the better airplanes I have on my system. The aircraft is modeled quite deeply (including the FDE's) and most (not all) things work very well. It's great to hand fly although it gets a little squirrely when it gets too slow, but fly it right and you really have something. Now there still are some bugs that are annoying, but as I'm using this aircraft mostly for cargo (air ambulance work is also now coming on stream), that adds to the ambiance. Bottom line is, if anyone is interested in the Lear 35, drop me a line and I'll tell you what I can. They are on V1.6 at this point.

Credit where it's due. Nice to see they redeemed themselves. Nice screenies, you should send those to them, the picks on their product page suck. Now you have me thinking about a Lear you bastard.

BTW, KWYS is MY airport. Landing fees aren't cheap. Pay up you spandex clad hoser.

Nope, you shouldn't have looked here. But hey, the autopilot is cantankerous and it only does M0.8 much of the time, and climbs around 6000 fpm at SL. You wouldn't like it .

On FB they said they were at V1.6. I really want this one. I am glad they hung in there and fixed what you and others had complained about. Thanks for the post-beta testing!

I know what some of you may be thinking - the door frame is too wide. I have seen pics IRL of them that wide, but that's fully adjustable in the paint kit . You don't have to have any frame if you don't want.
