Whaddya say we go for a nice stroll in the country this morning? Maybe down one of the rails-for-trails lines around here? I mean, it's been such a beautiful week for this type of activity. You know, sunny, warm, the birds are chirping, the bees are... well, "bee-ing" ( ). Or, maybe a nice drive in the country to see the sights? NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Better still, let's fire up the Duke and head as far south as we can get before we cross the 0* latitude line!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy crap, I know they said we would get winter this year, but this is nuts!!!! Man, I'd come up and grab a coffee on the way and we could sit and listen to the wind howl and the snow sand-blasting our cars, but I doubt I'd be able to even find the town, never mind your place today! Sheesh! Stay warm my friend.

Man oh man are we ever getting it. Chhhheeeezzz I didn't even get out for my Tims Dark Roast medium regular this AM--- has to be at least a foot of that white s--t on my car. My neighbour across the street---the local fire chief, just came home from the fire hall and put away his truck in the garage. That is a good sign to stay in the house to me. I was planning to get the blower out later on,but, me thinks I might just go flying instead. That Duke idea sounds good. Just looked outside and another squall off the lake is coming through--- I can barely see across the street BBBLLLLAAAAHHHH !!!!! Carm. PS -- I just turned up the thermostat.

Well it rained two days ago but 70+ temps make up for the wet! Noticed that my old home town in northern ID was -9 the other day. That's why I live in FL.

You got that right Don! Been snowing off and on for the past week now (mostly on) and at times we're getting whiteouts. Lots of wind and the temps are around 0F with the windchills (and going much lower than that tonight). I love this stuff, but unlike when I was younger, I prefer sitting inside and looking out at it now. Not that fussy about being out in it anymore. However I do have to go find my car under the latest pile of snow from last night and get some gas and whatnot, so I guess it's inevitable. Carm, I do believe Spud just invited us to stay with him for the winter. I'm sure he won't mind sleeping on the couch for a few months. Just don't tell him until we get there

Good idea. There's nothing like a Christmas surprise Thanks heaps, Spud,
PS. what is the closest A/P that will handle a Turbo Duke. I just downloaded the update for Europe LC, it went just fine 2-3 MGS average . Over all about 45-55 minutes ---not bad.!!! While it was downloading I cleared off my side porch, there was a good 18" of snow on the level. That's my physical activity for the day Cheers, Carm, Thanks again Spud. ---OH Yah!, Merry Christmas

I'm sure he won't mind if we land in his back yard (we may need floats though!). By the by Carm, I'm just looking out my window now. I do think it was not very nice of you to paint them all white on me. I'm assuming you did that because I can't see anything OTHER than white when I look out them . Could you please drop by and clean them off for me now? Thank you.

OK Carm. We have a backup if Spud kicks us out. Only problem now is, how are we gonna get there??? Referencing Don's post, we're out of being "nailed" and now into being "obliterated" .
