Got an Orbx question for you that you may be able to answer. I have North America enabled in FTX Central. I went to a couple of airports in Norway forgetting that I have NA enabled and not Europe (fat regions). However, went I plopped down on the 3 airfields I wanted to look at, instead of getting default scenery (or just Global/Vector/LC), it looked a whole lot like the fat region. The grass strip was undulating and uphill and there were some buildings near the strip that were definitely not default. It almost looks like you don't have to have a specific area enabled for it to show up now. I definitely did not have Global/Hybrid checked. Any thoughts on why I'm seeing what appears to be the "fat" Norway when NA is selected?

I'll have to think on this for a bit but have you compared an airport with NA set and then with Norway set to see if there are differences?

Not in detail, but from what I saw here, there appeared to be no difference (both were good). I'll look closer today.

OK, here are the comparison shots. I cannot tell any difference whatsoever between having NA or EU fat regions checked. Norway looks "fat" no matter which I have enabled. I have not done the same comparison for NA yet but will later. Here are the comparison shots then:  ENHA - NA active  ENHA - EU active  ENHN - NA Active  ENHN - EU active   ENME - NA active  ENME - EU active As I said, I can not tell any difference at all. What do you think? This actually would be a real boon if you don't have to be switching regions. |

Now that I look at these again, it looks like the LC is a little different outside of the airport regions. The airports look the same to me though. I would have thought they would have been default airports however (in some there is a Norwegian flag, regardless of which fat region is active). I do have LC Europe, Global and Vector enabled. Weird.

Actually, I might go one further on this. I don't think those last 2 airports are in the default FSX. I get the feeling they are only in the Orbx fat region. Not sure about that, but if so, it would be further proof that even though not "enabled" in FTX Central, it's active anyway. Interesting.
