The International Date Line crossing in 1968 coming home from a Viet Nam Tour aboard USS America made my longest year. it was leap year and they added one second to the clock that year as they do periodically. So I had a 366 day and one second 1968. Unfortunately never got to sail East to West over the line and get my day back.
