Phantom A/C

                   Hopefully this shot taken of a Google Earth view ,  will show a Phantom A/C which is superimposed on a farm field across from the farm field strip of a friend of mine. Note the A/C lined up---172's etc.

         Note also the shadow of the Phantom.   I know for certain that there is not nor ever has been a jet A/C where the Phantom is seen.      Any one got any ideas----   Carm

I'd suggest it's a UPO. Unidentified Photoshopped Object . Nothing more than that

That's a screenshot you took just now? Do you have FS Tracking turned on in Google Earth (assuming it exists)? I know there is a flight simulator of sorts in Google Earth, which I'm guessing is what you are looking at here. Need a little more info here though .

       FWIW here is a possible explanation for the phantom.

                      At the time the satellite took the view, there was indeed an Aircraft at that particular spot. at that exact time. and as it was of course many miles of feet below the satellite it showed up as it did.

         The whole thing was a coincidence.     That may explain things but, I'll be keeping this shot you can bet. and I'll show it to my friend who owns the farm strip.

Carm's suggestion is what I was thinking... If not photoshopped, then just a lucky happenstance in that the satellite grabbed a photo just as a jet was passing over that area. Notice the jet is just a bit out of scale with the rest of the area? The shadow is a mis-colored actual shadow, perhaps. All those bits and bytes, every once in a while they must step on each other's toes.

I've seen this before in Goggle Earth.  I think the airplane was just in the shot.  I wouldn't be surprised if there was an airport not too far away.
