I've been enhancing a number of airports in my current region and have run into one rather odd problem. I'm running Global, Vector and OpenLC NA. All the airports I've worked on so far have come out fine except for Sault Ste. Marie (CYAM). I can add buildings via IS3 with no problems. However, when I open the stock airport with ADE9X then save it in my add-on (my own setup, not the default one) folder for my own sceneries, I end up with about 30 feet of sod on top of the runways. Taxiways and ramps are ok. All I've done is remove default buildings so only the new ones I put in show up, but in my most recent experiment, I didn't even do that. I simply opened the stock airport in ADE9X then saved it in my own scenery folder. I still get the problem. The only nearby enhanced airport is KANJ which is about 20 nm away and is an Orbx Enhanced airport, but even when turning that one off, I continue to have my problem. As soon as I switch back to the original default airport, all goes back to where it should.
Any ideas on where to start looking for this? Note I have not adjusted the airport elevation in ADE9X at all.
Thanks.

I have no idea at all. Perhaps when you save the airport to your folder you end up with two entries somehow.

I wonder if the Orbx add-ons are creating the issue with the Default CYAM. Have you tried making the changes (remove sod etc.) you want to the CYAM version in your add-on folder instead of the default CYAM.

I strongly suspect that is the issue George. I have run the auto-fix in Vector and have taken some out manually, but it could the there are still more.
I've not tried to remove anything (other than buildings) in my version of CYAM because I'm really not sure how to do that. The elevation in ADEX matches what is supposed to be there, and what is in the default. The sod is laying on top of this scenery from somewhere, but I can't tell where (yet). I'll keep you posted when I look at this further, although it's a bit of a low priority at the moment. Thanks George!
