There seems to have been a few of late, but I don't think the numbers are out of line (so to speak). I did read some of the comments at the bottom of the article (never a good idea) and one guy referred to bush planes as "junk". Of course, he would know - he's actually seen a Beaver. Too bad he doesn't know the difference between the kind with teeth and the kind with a prop  . Bad accident for sure, but I've not heard anything to suggest that the turbine Otters are any more prone to failures than any other bush machine. |

Like the one that got Senator Ted Stevens and others, it won't be about the plane. This one seems to be about weather and darkness.
