I see that Carenado has come out with its version of the Phenom 505. It looks nice -- as usual with their product, but Too rich for my Canadian budget. Carm.

Hey Carm, It's actually the Phenom 300. The 505 designation is for the Navigraph Database add-on for it. If you decide to change your mind on this one and are thinking of getting it, please read the bug reports on the Avsim forum first. You're going to find that not that much of the FMC/systems actually work, and of those that do, they require some pretty tricky work-arounds and are not correct for the real thing. It sounds to me like you'd be spending a good bit of your time trying to decipher how to get a function to work rather than actually flying the aircraft unfortunately. Just thought I'd give you a head's up about that "just in case".

No sweat Carm. It is very confusing the way they present that info. I too wondered if they had done an airplane that I hadn't seen before. Might get up your way tomorrow. It's time to try driving again (I heard that Don ). I'll give you a dingle if I make it, but no promises on that one. Not sure how much I'll be able to do just yet.

HAH! No border involved my friend. We're both north of the 44th . Didn't make it though. Yesterday wasn't a real good one. So far, better today.
