Yesterday, flying inbound on the St Lawrence Seaway, I was encountering tiles 'til hell wouldn't have it. Hopped over to Orbx and found I wasn't alone. The consensus fix was - regardless of anything else, go to FTX Central make sure your group setup is correct and click on 'Apply Group'. Today, same flight - not a tile anywhere. Whether or not this will be part of the permanent pre-flight remains to be seen.

I keep seeing that "fix" more and more. Go to FTX Central and cycle the active group or cycle between the active group and any other. I think I need a checklist just to start the sim these days!

What's chances we'll see a modified FTX Central in the near future?. JV having a bad day - yesterday, in the forum, he chastised a member for displaying his thread title in CAPS. "Oh, the humanity".

That's ridiculous! That whole forum is strange, my view. Sometimes you get a very quick and helpful answer. Other times, well, you get a slap on the wrist, or just plain ignored. I never did get any response at all from the Orbx staff to my question of the missing library entries. I posted a sarcastic reply, which should get me at least suspended, if Spud's experience is any thing to go by.
