Then again Bob, maybe you can have my computer. I may not be using it after today. It's my turn now. I just installed the new HD Trees I just got. Then, I downloaded and installed (in order) updates for the following: Fall City Bella Coola Ketchikan Then I started installing the update for Jackson Hole. During the install routine, this is what I got: I clicked yes because if it's corrupt, it's corrupt and things won't run anyway. I have a feeling Ketchikan corrupted it because I didn't get the notice until after installing that. I'm about to update the libraries then we'll see if this shit runs. I wasn't kidding though folks. When this thing stops running (through no fault of my own), I'm done with it. Life is too short to be playing doctor to this one game 24/7, which appears to be what we have to do now. If Orbx can't manage their own installers (and there's abundant evidence they can't), then there's not much point. In my eyes anyway. Back shortly.

Yep. Done like dinner. My entire "Addon" menu has disappeared from FSX.
Done with it until the surgery. After that I'll decide if I'm simply going to do a reformat and call it a day. I will stick around here though. But I have no patience for this sim anymore. I've spent a lot of money to make it not work. Anyway Don, you now have company in the "pissed" department.

This has happened to me a number of times. The last time was with the Razbam Metroliner. It's easy enough to fix but you need the old dll file. I sure hope you copied the existing dll file before you created a new one.

No, what I did instead was to reinstall my add-ons like FSUIPC, Soundstream, Accu-Feel (I just love that name - taken in the wrong context... ) and Instant Scenery. I **think** everything is back now. I've opened FSX and checked and it's mostly there, but something is MIA still. I'll find it when I need it, I'm sure. However I am back up and running. Just gotta love this stuff though, eh? Man... .

Accu-Feel - did anyone think about that name before releasing it? LOL! That's one hell-of-a sim! LOL!

From the looks of it, it's extremely (how shall I say), accurate

Well, I'm going to "stick my neck out" and say it's already in place <LOL>
By the by, the KJAC update is causing lots of grief from what I'm reading at Orbx's site just now. If you do update it, select "No" to kill your old DLL.XML file. Apparently it will work anyway. I think. Hope. Whatever (Lord forbid they should actually fix it!).

My FTX Central v2 has been showing I need updates to Jackson Hole and West Yellowstone for awhile now. I've been meaning to do it, but have been putting it off since I haven't been flying around there lately. Now I think I'm just going to leave well enough alone for right now So much for keeping everything updated. -Scott

Scott, shouldn't be any problems updating Jackson Hole but if your in doubt just download the required updates from the ORBX support page and do it manually. Add the latest libraries after ward to be sure all objects work correctly.
