Not sure. Mine are all intact and still open, although the issue I reported is marked as Resolved (which it is). Not seeing anything else there that is locked. You aren't looking at the one in the Payware forum, which got moved to the OpenLC forum, are you?

They locked your thread - some feelings hurt? Uh, whose thread is locked? I dinna kin. It's 'ken' not 'kin' - the Orbx forum thread is Glenn's, regarding the missing Kluane Lake. Unregard, another optical Aleutian.

Yeah, at first I wondered what was going on and then I saw they moved it to a dedicated forum for OpenLC. All good now

FWIW the LC file installer that ORBX uses is a piece of S##T! It does not place the LC files where they need to be. This was stated some time ago when they issued some temp LC. Now it is rising up to bite em' in the A$$. After installing the Alaska/Canada LC you have to move them down in the Scenery Library. I have Tongass X directly below the FTX files and the LC files (should be 13 files altogether) go directly under the two Tongass X entries. Don't forget that a new library has been released too so run that after installing the LC. After I installed the LC I had missing water too but moving the LC files fixed that problem. FWIW I do NOT care for the FTX Central v2 trying to do all this automatically for the user. I attempted to let it install the new 150815 libraries today and it said it was going to take 24 hrs, then the times starting jumping all over the place so I just killed the Central v2 install downloaded the library and installed it myself. The Central attempts to read what files actually need to be installed and do just that. IMO it suks at it, takes longer and doesn't let you save the new library. I just download it and save the zip file and DIMyself.

It's nice to download the libraries, if I have a problem I can always just re-install them without downloading them again. I do like the new Central telling me what stuff I have that needs updating. That was getting to be a pain trying to keep track of all the patches.

I'm speaking of the LC (Land Class)installer not the Library installation from FSX Central v2. But .. I ran into the same problem that your described while letting Central v2 update the Libraries. I just D/L and install the Library manually and have a copy on the HD.
The LC installer puts the LC files in the wrong location in your FSX Scenery Library every time you run it. IE: if they issue a patch or the second half of the NA LC it will move ALL your LC files in your Scenery Library again when you run it. You will have to reset their location in the Library every time you run the LC installer until they get around to fixing it.

One would HOPE that they would already have fixed that, but maybe not. What BS. Anyway, maybe you could go and post that at Orbx, but if you do, be prepared for one "Dominique", a woman from Quebec who thinks our problems are all of our own making, to get on your case about it. From what I can gather, all Orbx functions and performance are based off her experiences and if things aren't going right, it's your fault, not Orbx's. Just a word of warning

This can be done automatically via "FTXConfigurator_OLC.exe", you'll find in \Orbx\Scripts.

The openLC Europe installer does the same thing and that was months ago.

That doesn't sound too promising now, does it. We shall see!

We can hold our breath or have a cold beer! I opt for the latter.
