Only three aircraft? More like a "Giggle"!

The color of the sky matches the color of my instrument rating. They said when they match I can file IFR.

Yup, I can go with "Giggle", or even just a "Gig" Cool. "CAT II" then is the number of pet cats you have aboard at the time of your approach?

Not part of the airshow, but we had an OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) EC-135 in yesterday. What a beautiful helicopter that one is!

Another real life image ... this little guy showed up unexpectedly and made me wait a bit while a patient was loaded. I don't know the back story, but there were many folks present (family members?) who were quite upset, so apparently the Life Link name was being lived up to.

Boyo, some great photos! Glenn, you are right, that is a B-17. A polished aluminum B-17 with a decorative ball turret! Not too many of those left.

We use 135's here. GREAT helo. Small rotor diameter - can fit almost anywhere. They usually require a 100' square LZ for safety, but can fit in way less. We had one in our back lot at the museum a month or so ago.

I really hope someone comes out with those decals for that Hornet. Those are sharp.

Thank you Fritz, really appreciate the remarks. Took a lot of shots to get a few good ones doing this sort of thing. Lots of fun though!
I might be able to get a close up of the CF-18 decals for you Don. I'll see what I can do.

I've often wondered if the fake cockpit painted onto the bottom of the Hornet was effective at all. Does it really have a chance of confusing an enemy pilot that the aircraft's attitude is 180 degrees opposite?
Note on that B-17 that it is one of the very late production G models, with the "Cheyenne" tail gunner's station. This modification gave the rear gunner a little more wiggle room as well as much larger viewing windows and an optical gun sight instead of the basic ring and bead sight. It also shortened up the overall aircraft length by about a foot, IIRC.

I think those fake canopies are highly effective. When inverted, at the right angle, the vertical stabs also look correct. I think it's pretty clever. I don't understand why the US didn't do it also.
