One of the posts Holger made in response to my question about the textures in PNW being a bit too brown (turns out he's right!), he linked me to a bunch of shots he took when he was a passenger on a 172 flight from Victoria to Qualicum Beach. Yes he did take some nice shots. It appears that they were taken in the summer after a period of little rain judging by the condition of the grass as some areas looked pretty well dried out. I wonder if he put that gal in the stairwell somewhere in the scenery.

It was shot about a month ago George, so early June. I don't think they were suffering a drought there at that time, but I don't know for sure.

When it's nice, it's really nice. We've lived here for 14 years now and each summer goes virtually rain free around the middle of July and stays that way 'til early October. Grass literally stops growing - I have a '02 model Sears lawn tractor that's lasted this long - replaced both belts, a battery and blades. Two sets of plugs in 13 years .
