Yeah, not bad, eh? He's in a heavy Orbx region which helps, but it sure is fluid. As for getting weaker, just remember - no night flying, attitude indicator is pooched, 2 axis autopilot, can't paint it, etc. So stay strong Don. I know you can. You're better than this. Don? Don?? How do you like it ? Not that I care because I'm not getting it. I'm not. Really. Honest. Awwww crap...

Nope - still holding out. Not a good sign when some sites haven't had a post, good or bad, in two days.

Fritz, the question isn't when, but by how much and in which direction . Why do you ask? Do you have a concern ? I can't imagine why Yeah Don, it's very, very quiet for a new release. In all my travels, I've found only 1 single big-time fan boy but from what he wrote, I'd say in his eyes Carenado can do no wrong so I tend to discount him. However, I think what's happening is that most people who used to jump on this stuff are staying away because they got tired of seeing the same bugs in the next iteration as they did in the last and having to rely on Bert Pieke to fix things rather than Carenado. Even Bert has started to bail on this stuff, I suspect out of frustration because he'd spend the time to fix the machine (what he could, anyway), send the fixes to Carenado, and get nothing back and finding the next airplane had all the same problems that he sent fixes for in the first place. So I think that's why things are so quiet, and I'd like to think Carenado would learn from this, but I'm extremely pessimistic they will. I don't think the quietness is due to a plethora of new bugs, but just people staying away therefore having little or no comment (in fact most comments aren't about the airplane, but more about not buying it for the reasons mentioned above). However, for folks here, we know exactly what we're getting and if the plane fits your niche and it's one you really want, then at least you know what you are getting into. In that case it's probably a good buy for you (if you can afford and/or want to spend that much on a plane with the known issues). Strangely enough, for a cargo pig like what I'm looking for, the Navajo would work for me and I've been tempted. But what is stopping me, and I suspect will continue to do so, are the sound files. Sound is a huge immersion thing with me and have zero sound changes from full power until you get below 35" (below climb power) just kills it for me. A - it tells me they reused a sound file from another airplane (but I'm paying for the sound files again) or B - they can't code sound either, and/or C - they have no idea what causes changes in engine sounds in the real airplane and just guess at what it should be, not worrying about the details. Oddly, the C404 has very much the same power settings and there you do get pitch changes from full to climb power. You don't in the CT206 but do in the C206 and the 185. It's really hit and miss. If sounds don't bother you and the airplane still fits, maybe you should think about it. For me there are too many no-go items for my niche/needs so it's out for me, but this is an individual thing and everyone should go with what works best for them. FWIW .

LMAO!! Believe me, I've hovered over the damn "Buy Now" button a few times . I think were it not for the sounds issue, I could live with the rest (including the repainting, although the night lighting issue could be a serious one for me). Dunno man, I absolutely HATE the thought of rewarding those guys with yet more of my money, but the Navano is one I've been wanting for a long time, just like you. "Crash" is convinced I'll have it by time he gets home next week. There's no way though. Unless I do get it. Which I won't. Probably. I think... . PS - See your PM when you get a chance there old bean . Thanks.

<LOL> Yeah, I just watched the "review" video of it again. I'm back to a "no way" again . Sound package sucks (the reviewer seems to think it's really good, which for a supposedly RW Chieftan pilot really mystifies me on a LOT of levels).

No, you have zero hope for doing that one. That's a real shame too - I'd love to have that one myself (or a variation thereof). Let's hope someday a QUALITY developer does this airplane. I quite like it and see them everyday at work.
Still very, very little at Avsim on this aircraft (at least in terms of people who have bought it).

"The usual suspects" at SOH - no real negatives just hedging their bets.

I've ceased even considering it. Basta! I think I'll go for that 402 that's on sale.

There is a thread over at AVSIM about the Navajo. The natives are getting rather pissy. Fun times. BP;)
