My current project is to set up all the Return to Misty Moorings scenery stuff in P3D2. Becomes especially handy since all the good folks over at RTMM have kindly spent hundreds of hours updating all the scenery libraries to work with P3D2. All I can say is "Wow!" and "Thank You!!" I am just now in the beginning parts of installing the sceneries, and while reading the extensive documentation I came across at least one little update that should help all users of Tongass Fjords: RTMM have updated a couple of the files for the ice floes. In P3D2 these are now made visible, and in FSX and P3D2 they are visible from a longer distance. Can't wait to test it out. Get this little update here: " Links to the Object Libraries You Will Need", Tongass Fjords section. For what it's worth, installing Tongass Fjords in P3D2 does not necessarily require the purchase and use of the "Migrator Tool" the RTMM site recommends. Anyway, I'll add more info and screen captures to this as I move along the process. On the plus side, I'm hoping that some of the objects I was missing from my NCH custom scenery compilation will work now... (I also need to check up on how much of the base packs for that are now P3D2 compatible.)

That all sounds pretty good Sandy, thanks for the update! I've been watching the RTMM stuff with interest. I'm not using P3D yet, but I am using FSX DX10. My RTMM scenery probably could use some updates anyways, so I've been thinking about just starting fresh with all the new scenery and libraries.

Sandy, Misty's Place was one of the first locations developed for RTMM and yes the conglomerated building is correct for Misty's. In fact the smoke comes from a tiny invisible cabin object emitting smoke placed in the smokestack. Back then things were in the "learning curve" and not as well developed as they are now. To see a major difference try Halibut Cove all kinds of custom models and even AI boat traffic for different seasons. FWIW your supposed to enjoy the bar 'inside' where the beer is cold and the wimin' hot and architecture isn't noticed except where the door to the 'head' is located.

Very cool, thanks! I'll take a look at Halibut Cove. My next question was going to be "which of the many offerings available on RTMM would make an interesting next stop?", so you've got me headed in a neat direction already.
