Well, I disagree with it being a marketing ploy only. I flew the J3 before Accu-sim then after, and the difference was dramatically better. Anyway, like I said, to each their own. I've bought into it for whatever that means or is worth (probably only meaningful to me ).

You know what might be a good one coming up is the Piaggio Avanti from MilViz - certainly an interesting design.

I was sold on the AccuSim addition after I got the Cub. Without AccuSim. Then later purchased the Accusim add-on. It made quite a noticeable difference in the finer points of the aircraft, and I've bought all my A2A models with AccuSim ever since. For me, it works and adds up to a more ... complete? ... sim experience. Marketing ploy? Perhaps. But I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoy the extra experience AccuSim provides. I especially enjoy AccuSim on the P-40 and P-47 models.

I see "marketing ploys" as fancy names for things that do nothing. One could hardly say that "Accu-sim" does nothing, so to me it's a legitimate component of the product. Maybe they didn't need to give it the "hip" name, but it's not an empty promise for sure .

Milviz is doing the Piaggio Avanti?? That could very well turn my head. There's a pretty decent freeware version out there, maybe a couple versions, but a high quality model would be very much appreciated. It is a truly unique aircraft... I got to see one up close a couple years ago during a visit to the San Diego air show. I should have an image or three online somewhere.... Ah, here we go. Large images, these are direct links to a gallery containing the images. Images are large, that's why only links posted here. The gallery is a bit buggy, sorry about that... Oh, here's an old shot of the FSX model from Mario Noriega: Image Link - Click Me!
