Coolsky DC-9 Classic

This is coming as a huge shock to me, but I picked up the DC9 Classic that Coolsky made a few years back. I gotta tell you, this is one very impressive job they did!! Very vintage and very systems heavy, but boy, is it nice to fly and operate. Still figuring a few things out, but I really, really like this airplane.

Picked up some of the McPhat HD textures for mine, including the cockpit.  Made the old computer groan a little.

Yeah, I too picked a set up, including the HD VC's. Unfortunately I can't install them. They never sent me any registration codes. I've opened a support ticket (yesterday) but nothing so far. Probably be tomorrow before I hear back. We will see.

   I'd love to have that sim but, its too rich for my budget, also they only use Flight1  to download by and I won't use that outfit anymore--probably my loss.            Carm.

Those look NICE! I've flown on many an Eastern DC-9 years ago. Back when the stews were in their twenties, when the food was good, when one could smoke (yes - I did quit!),you didn't have to take your shoes off to fly and the flights were on time. That's all called fantasyland now LOL!

Yeah, sadly that's all changed (well, sad except for the smoking part). It's been a long time since I've been on an airplane and to be honest, I have no great desire to get on one again, what with all the security measures and whatnot; never mind trying to get my gear on as carry-on (no way is that stuff going in the hold!!!). It sure has taken the fun out of flying.

Well there is a very simple way to do away with all the metal detectors, pat downs and searches. Just would still need to run your carry on baggage through the X-Ray but all the rest is unecessary if everyone just flew naked. The would also put some of the fun back into flying!!!
