That's quite an impressive offering. Very generous. But I still have my doubts about Global.

Fritz, never had any problems with Global, VECTOR is still a work in progress but v1.15 is much better than previous versions.

I've been really happy with Global overall. I feel the visuals are much better than GEX for areas I fly and you do get world-wide coverage. It's not cheap though -Scott

Can't remember if this has been asked before but, Will that Global pack 12 work in just plain old FSX ? Cheers. Carm.

I think that I have read somewhere that it will except where there are elevation conflicts. Mayhap I'm mixing things up; a not unknown set of circumstances.

From the FAQ page at ORBX here is the skinny from Neil Hill who develops the Global Freeware Airport Packs.
"The "FTXG" freeware packs are set up to use Global and Vector alone and (with one accidental exception) are outside any "regions". When doing these I use default FSX mesh so an outside mesh is not needed, although the present Vector requires some of the AEC files to be set to "disable" to look correct.
Cheers, Neil"
