LOL! "Close"!!! That looks like the area around Pensacola with the barrier islands. I'm waiting for a model of that plane. One company made it and they are sold out world-wide. I am hoping they re-release it.

Don't you just love that? I'm forever finding out about kits I'd love to have only to discover they're OOP/sold out/discontinued/rare/what have you.  It's the same with 'Limited Editions'.  You just know half of them will be bought by people who have absolutely no intention of building them but buy them simply to hoard them away in the hopes of making a killing on eBay at some point.  I can understand the concept of 'Limited' if it's cost prohibitive and/or labour intensive.  Making short runs makes some sense in that case.  However, if something sells out before it's even released to the general public then it's an artificial market and you're only going to disappoint a lot of potential paying customers.

Figured that was the one you meant. The only place I found with the possibility of purchase was Lucky Model in Hong Kong. Given that they don't have any product in stock and have a 2-3 week backorder restock notice posted and, given that the kit appears to be OOP, I don't think the odds are good for obtaining one.



There is this little guy, though. No idea how to obtain one, though.
