I just by accidence saw the Aeroplane heaven Swift at FSPilotshop. SWIFT linkIt says FSX and Prepar3d V2 (compatible) ¿?¿? Price is 20 yankee dollares. Not bad. (Do I smell a 125hp update later on for 10? )

They're already flying it over at SOH and the word is good. Apparently, though it is the A model, power is 125 hp which should give it a little more snort. Who's going to buy first and tell us?

I got it and have only done a couple of circuits in it. She seems to fly and handle just fine. . landing is a little tricky, but that's likely my lack of skill and comfort in the A/C . I'm going to like this bird. I'll bet she will roll like a good thing. Tomorrow we will do a Xcountry to CYKF from my home base at CPN4 and return. that should be enought time to get a feel of the wee beasty.. Cheers, nite all !! Carm.

Just like the old one forty - looks like the mains are further apart. Short coupled though, may want to swap ends.

I had it in the air for an hour and a half yesterday and its a good one. Basically, I like everything on it. The outside textures are to shiny and glossy for my taste, but the rest is good. The VC is great with nice gauges. It looks real and not flashy.
For being a lowwing taildragger, its not that difficult to fly, be gentle with the throttle when starting. Go staright before applying full, if not she´ll be all over the place and landings need to be done with an elegant but firm touch. yummi
But its no way a bushplane. It doesnt like bumpy grassfields to much, climb out is poor and it needs more runway to land on as well.
Its all the way it should be, and what I want when I buy an AC like this one. I have enough small bush planes and besides that, it flies very well. Its fast on the control in the air, it can fly slow (some 60 knot) with one flap down. I like that. And it really is a nice feel when you get the take-offs and landings right.
I havent had a look in the AC.cfg, but my feel is that this only has 85hp. Climbing is slow and cruise speed around 110 knots and if you dont cuttle it a bit, it might suffer to do that speed.

I thought it rather a hoot to see that, in 1969, the plane cost $3,500. About the same price as a car back then.
