Nor I. When they're done releasing fixes, I may give it a shot.

I really hope they get P3D together and make it a 64 bit program and that a whole new generation of folks stay interested in flight simulation. And I have no doubt that we will soon see affordable home simulators that rival the professional ones available today. It ain't gonna happen while I'm alive, though, so I'm staying with FSX.

I've heard the 64 bit version is under development now. How soon it's out though is anybody's guess.

Unfortunately version 2.5 requires a completely fresh install, and the majority of add-ons out there are not compatible with the new file layout. So while I was excited to see the new release, as soon as I realized there was no simple 2.4->2.5 upgrade, I began losing interest. Once the majority of my third-party stuff is known to work in 2.5, I'll update.

I will only update the day I HAVE to. Either because addons will need a never version or because my PC needs a reformat. I´m personally getting tired of all these P3D updates. Its good with a sim that is being develloped, but 3 - 5 new versions a year is way to much IMHO. Besides when reading about what v2.5 will bring, I cant see I need it. So I stay with 2.4 untill I Have to switch or untill I have a problem or a new PC. v3 will be another story. And it will depend a lot on money and performance. A 64 bit version could come out very expensive because we might have to buy new addons for it all.

It's not that bad, LM didn't change the file structure of the simobjects folder so most aircraft will work according to a guy who tried it over at orbx forums..
