Thanks, Spud. Would you happen to know what has changed or been updated? Everything I have is working just fine, so I wonder if this is necessary for me.

Fritz, there are 24 changes or updates to the program, (too many to type here). The download is only 3463KB and contains a 2 page PDF file listing all the changes. FSUIPC is now compatible with P3D (all versions) and FSX Steam (some functions are missing in steam however).

I follow pivo11. why change something that works without problems. When is it nescessary I will install. On my IPAD I havent installed the latest software. Its 5 - 6 month ago since it came out. The Ipad works like it has always done and last time I updated, it was a big mess. I dont use newest office programs, my windows is 7 pro. I never used winvista and I wont be using win8. I even jumped from FS9 directly to P3Dv2. I did have FSX installed back when it came out, but that was a horrible experience, so it was deleted. When SP2 came out, it was installed again. Still horrible, so it was deleted again (the problem was 60% me 30% PC and 10% FSX). When P3Dv3 comes out, I´ll be slow because I can imagine that we´ll need a lot of new and expensive software.
So my question is: Do I need this new version of Fsuipc? the one I have already works with p3d and I dont touch the program it self. I only have it installed because other programs use it.

Small updates, the file available for download today is version 4.938f. There is a .pdf file included listing all the changes to the current version since 4.92. I recommend always staying current with FSUIPC, especially as a P3D2.x -only- flier.
