Hi, all. I will post pictures when I get home with the new mesh. What a difference!! Thanks to Glenn (damn it - no more $$$) I added in the Global Base and Global Vector, and added in the Pilot Mesh. With ORBX scenery, I have to say, this sim looks great. This IS FSXI!!! I have had no decrease at all in frames, and if anything, a mild increase. I need a more powerful rig, and that will be the goal for the next 12 months. Pictures to come!

I'm so proud. First today I found out one of my photos was published by National Geographic (no, NO spandex, thank you ), and now I find out that I've forced Don to declare bankruptcy . Man, what a GREAT day!!! Anyway, congrats Don. It's a LOT more fun now, isn't it .

That is super cool Glenn! Congrats!
I just got Vector and Pilots mesh over the holidays. I'm finally getting a chance to test it all out. Which Pilot's mesh are you guys using? The FS Global 2010 FTX version, or the Ultimate versions? I got the FTX version, the Ultimate bundle was a little out of my price range

That's really cool Glenn! Do you know in which edition/magazine? And does this mean that as a NatGeo subscriber I've paid part of your salary?

Great news about your photo, Glenn.
I want to get that Pilot's mesh. Next month, with a bit of luck. How much does it run?

Thanks guys. Jay - not sure yet. I'm trying to find out. I just get a quarterly report from the agency that distributes my work and it listed NG as one of the purchases. It looks like it's in a book that NG might have published, but I can't tell (they may classify books in with magazines). The image that sold to them is this one (my agency is All Canada Photos - do a search for Glenn Davy and you'll find a selection of my work there). All Canada is part of a stock photography network though, and Corbis picked this one up for distribution. I also get royalties from Getty, and a couple of overseas (UK, France, Germany) outfits. Anyway, I've sent an email off to All Canada asking if I can get more particulars. Thanks again - appreciate the thoughts. PS - if the pic in the link above looks a bit rough, they do that on purpose to prevent copying/stealing. Doesn't always work, but it helps some. PPS - Jay, if you are paying part of my salary, I WANT A RAISE!!!

I paid the extra few bucks and got the DVDs. The download is HUGE, and I didn't want to go through all of that and then find out I had a bad file. For the extra few bucks and a 23 day wait (slow mail from Australia!) it was worth the wait.

Congrats on NG again, I know that's a huge thing for a photographer. Tell you what Glenn, it's all red numbers here since I started school, but I'll be happy to share some of those with you.
