OK Carm, but don't give up. I'm sure there's a relatively easy solution to this.

Carm, please tell me what you use to take a screenshot. Do you have a addon program or do you just use the Windows default?

Mornin Fritz. Its too cold this AM -24 on my thermometer without a chill factor. My Bippy nearly got frost bitten when I went outside for the paper, and nobody wants a frost bitten Bippy. I usually use Cnrl+PrtScr and Windows paint. I'll worry about shots later, right now I get my jollies from just flying around. Thanks for the help and suggestions mon amie. Carm.

Yeah, and with the wind it's -1.3 gazillion!!! I know - I was out photographing about 45 minutes before sunrise (yes, with the full moon, there was enough light ) and nearly froze my "bippy" and several other appendages off ! That wind is a killer! Someone actually pulled over to see if I was ok (when they saw what I was doing, they knew the answer - NO, but he's beyond help so best to just move on ). Tonight and tomorrow are supposed to be much worse, so that should be "interesting" .

That's fine. After you load it into Paint (Ctrl+V) then you save it as a JPEG file, right? What you then have to do is upload that picture to a image sharing site, like Photobucket or Image Shack, there's lots. Then you get a link from that site that corresponds to the photo that you uploaded and that's the URL that you post here. For example; I use Photobucket but all the sites work pretty much the same. I take a snap of something that I want to post, in your case Ctrl+PRNT SCRN. Then I copy it to Paint, (CTRL+V), and name it os1, (for example). Now I have a picture called os1.jpg Then I go to my Photobucket account and upload os1.jpg to that account. Then I find the "share links" button and copy the "IMG" URL that has been generated by Photobucket. Now I have a link to my picture os1.jpg that looks like this: IMG]http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/tt96/pivo11/os1_zps730a3bc4.jpg[/IMG (I deleted the square brackets at beginning and end so as not to show the picture) That's the link that you copy and post on websites. You have to go through an image sharing site, you can't copy images directly from your computer to the web. At least I don't know of a way to do that. I hope that will be of some help and I will now hold my peace.

It still is on my system and it is loaded with stuff I took. Guess what I'm going to be doing today. CJ
