Thanks Bob. I said I was going to resist. However, I actually have a use for this and the stock model after having got those UK airfields. Hmmnnn... .

Thanks, but I'm going to keep using the up and down version.

Since I qualify for the upgrade (still $25 or so), am curious as to what they've done to deserve my money.

Morning All Happy hangover time. We took a look at that new Turbo Duke. FWIW. I have had the Turbo Duke for a while and I don't think that this new A/C's performance figures are a whole lot better than the old model. It seems to me that its some cosmetics that you are paying for. Think I'll keep my pension check in my pocket on this one. Cheers, Carm.

What they've done is try to convince you to buy the same plane twice. Yeah, they're getting quite clever that way.

Agreed, and I took the bait. Now, I will say that the start up is the best I've seen on any turboprop in FSX. It's very near perfect. In the air the airplane handles beautifully but you do have to keep a close watch on it that you don't overspeed. I really wish this was something like a 421 or a more common turboprop though. It is fully GTN integratable and was built with that in mind so that was a selling point for me as I now have that gauge (and LOVE it!). I will use it and put it into service, at least to start with, partly because of the features it does offer, and partly because it's a Beech, which I really like; but is it worth buying again? Probably not. You do get a hefty discount if you are upgrading which helps (wouldn't have done it otherwise), and my feeling is there are so few really top notch turboprop aircraft out there that this is one I guess I couldn't pass up. Unless you're as anal as me (and not many are) in this hobby, it's probably not a good buy.
