Nice shots Fritz. Yeah, I've been into Muddy. Interesting approach if you have to come from the opposite direction . Is muddy in the Tongass area? I find it harder on frames than Orbx regions, so that could also be the source of the stutters.

Both Dease Lake and Muddy Lake are in the Orbx Alaska region. I don't think I'd like to try to get into Muddy from the other direction.

It's do-able, but you have to do a pretty tight turn in the valley, then drag it in with power just above the stall and fly it on. It does work though.

That's kind of what I did Don. It's rather tight otherwise, but not impossible. I used to do a modified form of one of those IRL just for practice. As long as you didn't haul back on the stick to keep your sink rate from getting too high (and thus loading the wings), you could sure make a tight turn AND lose height at the same time. You want to practice it up high a few times first though .
