I've been in conversation with a fellow at Orbx regarding the next freeware pack. He asked what airports I would be interested in seeing as he wants to do more in the Canadian north. I gave him a list of airports in the Yukon as they are near/adjacent to SAK for both Alaska and the Yukon. In the process I gave him a link to Skyvector ( Skyvector) which basically has the world displayed on sectionals online, and also to the Nav Canada airport publication that is online. This one is a 53 mb downloadable PDF file that has all the Canadian airports in it. You can get it at www.navcanada.ca/en/products-and-services/pages/aeronautical-information-products-canadian-airports-charts.aspx. It's pretty handy to have if flying in Canada. The list of airports I gave him were: CYXQ - Beaver Creek; CZFA - Faro; CYMA - Mayo; CYOC - Old Crow; and CYDB - Burwash. I forgot to give him a few others, but we won't get all of those anyway, so that would be a pretty good start. Anyway, we'll see what happens, but I thought I'd throw up the links here as well for anyone who might want to use these.

That's brilliant! I would like to have Burwash. I made a few "improvements" there a while back. I like the area.

Hey Fritz, yeah, they said they couldn't do Burwash because it's in the fat region. These airports are all outside of those, but Burwash isn't bad now as it is. Fairly accurate I'd say.

I'm afraid I didn't follow that at all. Can you elaborate?

Anything in the fully fat regions (in this case, SAK) doesn't get done in the freeware packs. They are either payware add-on's or in a few cases, freebies, but it's only airports outside of the fat regions (PNW, CRM, NRM, et al) that are done in the freeware pack sets.
