This not being able to 'paste' is starting to get to me. I have tried all the solutions I can find --- to no avail. I can 'capture' a screen shot with PrtScr or Snagit--no problem, and it is saved in my usual spot I have used for many moons. The problem arises when I want to copy from there to and paste the shot into another location ie-- Bushpounders forums; then I cannot paste the shot. I can paste the shot to the Desk Top, but cannot paste from there either, to another location , this also applies to Notepad and E Mail as well. Sure is annoying and frustrating. From reading the forums and searching the internet, this is a common problem which dates away back with Window and MS, and a permanent cure has not been found, or published. Apparently it most often rears its ugly head when Windows OS's are reinstalled , for what ever reason. Anyway it sure has me Buffaloed. Hell, its 2230 hrs--- time for bedybyes. Carm.

Have you tried CTRL+V? If you're trying to upload a picture though, don't you go through the FTP program, or alternatively, drag and drop? I've not heard of not being able to paste before, I must admit.

Just to cover all the bases Carm, are you right clicking on the image, selecting "Copy", then clicking on your destination and again right clicking and selecting "Paste"? Remember too, if you are trying to post in BP (a picture that is), you need to use the Image box at the top of the message window. You can't just "paste" a picture as you would if you are dropping it into a folder. You've probably know that already, but sometimes I tend to overlook the obvious when I can't get something to work.

Carm, just in case this is just a brain cramp (Lord knows I get enough of those I'm an expert in them ), have a look at the pics below. I've circled the button you need to click on that will allow you to paste a picture here. Again, this is probably not news to you, but I'm just trying to cover all the bases here. Have a look: The arrow points to the button you need to click on. This is a close up of that. When you click on that, a window will open and you type the path to the picture in there. When you hit Enter, it should show up in the Message window. Now, there may be an easier way to do that, but I'm not familiar with it. I'm pretty sure though, you can't just paste a picture itself directly into a message box on these forums (please correct me if I'm wrong). Hopefully this helps, but I realize it may have nothing to do with your problem. I'm just not exactly sure what's going wrong though, so it's a place to start. Let us know how it's going.

GD day men. My God ! its 2015 already; it seems like it was just 2 days ago it was 2014; where does the time go. Anyway, things are sort of looking up this year. So far I've won in a tiff I've been having with PMDG over a redownload of their 747X. I now am burning holes in the sky in a 744. However I can't prove it as I still cannot 'paste' shots as I would like to. I've tried different methods with little success. The old method I used for a long time just won't work. Maybe I'm just not holding my tongue right . Anyway, it gives me something to do on these snowy days. Cheers Carm.
