Rather than the C-340, I went with two more Pipers. Being a Piper guy, I had to do it. I wish the TArrow wasn't a damned T tail, but for the price, I'll live with it. Also wish the Saratoga was a Cherokee 6, but again, I'll live with it! With the backup CD, I paid $11 and change each. I have to find out about the doors, They don't want to stay open. Strange. BP;)

The doors not staying open are because you're parked next to the gas pumps. It's an FSX glitch since Day 1 with the sim. Park elsewhere and you'll be fine . Nice shots. That Saratoga is really nice.

Yeah, the Saratoga is very good. Especially compared to the older version.

CRAP! Don, you got the OLDER Saratoga. Man, sure wish you had talked with us first on that. Good luck trying to fly it my friend. I thought you got the new one. Ouch.

It's not bad at all. What was the problem with it?

I believe the C of G was totally screwed up and it flew so nose high that you couldn't see squat out of it. Again, if you aren't in the cockpit you may not notice it. Fritz may remember more about it than I, but our "buddy" (FK) tried to fix it and that didn't go so well. I finally uninstalled it and gave it up for good. The new one is immensely(!!!) better my friend.

I've been flying the Sara and the T-Arrow from inside, being I used to fly them or their sort. I am not noticing that. LOL! - FK was trying to fix it? Should have just taxied it into a wall! I'll look closely at that, but I have not noticed anything major. I just flew it from Yakutat to Gustavus. I really wish it was a Cherokee 6. BP;)

Really glad that one is working out for you. I remember I really didn't like it, but if you have RW experience in it, you're a much better judge than I. Please keep firing screenies and PIREP's of it. I might just load it back on because I too like the vintage machines better.

I didn't like it either, I couldn't get it to climb well and it would not slow down as well as not trimming out well. I too, however, bow to someone who knows the real thing. I still like the new one better.

Mornin. I picked up the Saratoga, and like it. Like Don says you have to keep one eye out for the runway edge but its no real bother, I remember it was like that in the RW too. I also got the 340, but I'm not too thrilled with it. I think it is some what rough in its finish and it sure isn't a speedster. But me the Missus and the Chiluns flew from Rupert to Juneau, with a 'pit stop' at Ketchican yesterday. It was okay but not a Duke, for sure IMO. Carm.
