Our inaugural flight out of Southampton to our base in Cork, Ireland, wasn't without some "challenges" but overall it went quite well . Beautiful, UK December weather with mostly clear skies and light winds. This flight is in the Avro RJ85 and was about an hour in length, at FL280. I really love flying these machines. Really fun, very stable on the approach and nice to handle. Some pics for your viewing enjoyment.
At the gate, Southampton
Taxiing by some facility - not sure which
On the roll
Climbing to FL280 - late afternoon
Like I said, a beautiful December day in England
We landed in the warm glow of the late afternoon at Cork. End of a really nice flight
Thanks for looking in .
