Yeah, the Connie. That was Carm's favorite, if I remember correctly. Nice shot, I have only seen a couple of those Gone With The Wind sunsets. They're pretty spectacular.

When I was at Yakutat in '62, Western was flying Connies, 749's on the local routes and 1049's on the long ones. Perhaps the most graceful aircraft ever built. Selznick manufactured those Tara sunsets just like flightsims are now. |
