Back when television still required getting up to change channels, a program called 'The six million dollar man' was invented and this little bird appeared in the opening credits. Back then having a worthwhile story, good actors etc. was not necessarily a requirement for success and this show did succeed, leading to The Bionic Woman'. Both genders then had equal representation. How many shows would this take today?
