The Focke Wulf TA 152H (nicknamed 'Dora') was an effort to create a competitive high altitude fighter. Too late and too few, it still impressed the opposition. With a pressurized cockpit and nitrous and/or methanol/water injection it could operate upwards of FL330 and easily outclimbed/ran the P51.
