Hello, all! I got pneumonia pretty bad and it did horrible things to my right lung. Hence my absence. In a rehab center now for I don't know how long, hopefully only a week or ten days, I dunno. At least I've got internet here; in the hospital there was nothing, something to do with security. Anyway, I'm on the mend thanks for thinking of me.

I've only been here a few days so there is no noticeable progress except for aching muscles that I obviously haven't used for some time. I'm riding the bicycle, rowing the boat, walking the endless road and doing many, many breathing exercises. Everything is measured and I suppose that next week I'll be able to see how things are getting on and at what rate. In the mean time, I'm fine, in good spirits and confident. I see no reason not to be, so I shall keep on keeping on, ya know it?

Huzzah, home at last! With oxygen machines, portable and fixed. I need oxygen whenever I do anything that requires effort, like walking. I don't need it just sitting around and doing normal house stuff though, so that's good. Another round of examinations and scans in six weeks and we'll see if there is any improvement but I think I'll need oxygen from now on. No matter, I'm REALLY happy to be home!

Welcome home! You need to switch over to flying fighters and we'll all chip in on a really cool O2 mask! Hang in there, Fritz. I'll bet that bed felt good!
