The 'wicked Wilga', built by PZL in Czechoslovakia. Saw one in Anchorage, had a round engine then and performance was spectacular - as was the price.  |

That round engine looks so much better - RL up to 450 hp, what a beast. Heard Mike Patey's building another 'DRAKO' (Wilga on steroids). |

Yes! Drako! One of my favorites. This is the most badass plane ever designed. It took him 5 months from start to finish. To me, this is the best rendition of the WILGA. So sleek. I'm sure this is very much a very rich man's toy! www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAFPac_kuZI&t=84sBP;) |
