Oban, on lower Loch Linnhe, is the only Scottish town with palm trees. Thanks to the Gulf Stream flowing off the Atlantic, Oban is blessed. The helo is a Sud/Aerospatiale 'Gazelle'.  |

If they have palm trees do they also have palm borers? (Paysandisia archon) Damn things have nearly wiped out the palms near where I live.

They put out little cups of single malt - the borers love it and leave the trees alone. |
