With those tires it looks as if you may have planned a bush trip. Bush tires are super expensive. Consider that the PA18 originally had 4" wheels and their was only one 'bush' tire and that required a special insert for the tire wall to mate with the wheel and you still had the Goodyear bladder brakes (not much). Then the 6" wheel STC's started flowing along with double puck disk brakes. The big tire industry was born - and don't forget the original 11/4 axles needed replacement with something stouter. Bring your check book or reinforced plastic. |
