At last I got a break in my "to do" list to get in a flight from dease Lake to Wrangell. I used the Porter PC6 for a relatively low and scenic VFR altitude flight following the Tanzilla and Stikine river valleys. I've done some hiking over the years but the terrain in this part of BC is not for 'greenhorns". The river valleys eventually empty into the Stikine straits just a few miles north of Wrangell.
