I was watching for this for some time. They finally released it. This is truly a study level plane. After watching MANY clips about starting, flying, programing the FMC, I am really thinking of grabbing it. LOTS to learn, but I think it will be fun. Flying certainly has changed since I was flying!! The FMC alone will fry your brain!

For the intro price it's reasonable, considering the complexity. Some in XP are at or above $100 - 'fraid I'm from the old 'kick the tires' school and don't have the patience for todays technology.

I grabbed it. LOTS to learn. First night it took me an hour to get it started. I then watched a tutorial on pre-start, start, post-start - pre-taxi, and took my own notes. Last time I had it down to 15 minutes from cold and dark to push back - minus the navigation inputs. We'll get to that some other day. BEAUTIFUL aircraft.

I'm like Dave, I prefer airplanes that you start with a hand crank.
