I just saw that Alabeo is making a C404 Titan. Why is everyone making oddball planes rather than the more popular ones? I would have loved to have seen a nice 421 Golden Eagle. I loved those damned things. Yep - NEVER f*&%ing happy! LOL!

Well, you aren't the only one never f*&%ing happy . I'd be interested to see how many of those are still flying in Canada. Not many I'll bet. But hey, we always have the Duke... oh, wait, there's even fewer of those...

There are 38 Titans still registered in all of Canada. But that's ok - only 10 Dukes. Yippeee.

There are, on the other hand, 43 Golden Eagles registered in Canada, so not as many more of those as I would have thought, but still I see more of those on a daily basis than the Titan.

They're popular, aren't they ?
By the by, I agree with you on the 421. I really miss the F1 421.

I worked for a Cessna dealer at one point. We had brand new 421's sitting there all the time. They were beautiful planes. Now I never see them at all around here. Of course, as busy as our airport is, we could close it and extend the shopping mall and never miss it. Being around 421's was in Florida - about 200 years ago!!

Yeah, they are scattered a bit. We have 2 on the field here, both really nice. I see them on Flight Aware often enough, but you're right, they are declining in numbers. They were my favourite machine next to the 310 (actually, I really preferred the 320 until the 310 got its nose job ).
