Looks good in the 'Badwater&Hat' livery. Boy if I worked in an Airplane museum and my first name was Don, it'd be in my hangar right now.

Nice job Fritz. Looks great. I don't know where you get the patience to repaint these things, but my hat's off to you. Agreed Dave. He should know by now, resistance if futile. Never mind. He already has it. He's just been too chicken to show us any screenshots of it .

Not yet. I'd rather have a fixed gear. Maybe I can just leave them down! LOL! BP;)

Leave them down and pull the breaker. Or, do like I did, leave them up for landing . Either way gets a lot of stares <LOL>.

If there was a way to stow the prop, those gear up landings wouldn't be so bad. "Those who have and those who're gonna".

Thanks, guys. I should try that no wheels landing. Didn't know it was an option.

It's always an option. It's just not the prefered!

Now Don. There are always advantages and disadvantages to every option. Just think - you stop on a dime with your gear up. You also don't hurt yourself when you fall off a wing after a gear up landing. Now it's true, you often need a ride to the parking apron, and your next flight can be "delayed" for a bit; and hey, you did want to have the bottom of your airplane repainted anyway, right? So don't poo-poo it too quickly. hic
