For some reason my FSX now does not like Whitehorse. YT. If I start from or get within 20-25 miles, FSX stops... Outside those limits --no prob. This happens with or without Whitehorse X installed. Damned frustrating. !!! Any ideas anyone?? . Cheers, Carm.

Sounds to me like you might have at least 2 entries for Whitehorse in your scenery library. I'd be looking real close at your Scenery Library for anything that has Whitehorse. Disable all but one if you do. Make sure you don't have a scenery folder within a scenery folder that might contain more than one YXY. If you don't see it in your scenery library within FSX, look in your addon scenery folder in FSX using Explorer and see if there are duplicates there somewhere. Other than that, I can't think of what would cause that off hand.

Thanks Glenn; I've done what you suggested, but cannot locate anything out of the ordinary. Too bad. I guess I'll have to pop in to Teslin to pick up my buddy on my way to Dawson for the annual Hootananny. Cheers, Carm.

carm, have you done an Agent Ransack search of your root FSX folder for *CYXY* that should locate anything related to Whitehorse. My search reports 6 files. I have ORBX Vector 1.15 installed so four of the files are related to that program and three of them are inactive. The final two files from the ORBX SAK scenery region are:
ADE_FTX_SAK_CYXY.BGL ADE_FTX_SAK_CYXY_CVX.BGL
I assume your running ORBX SAK; if not then ignore the post.
