Since I moved to XP I often feel like a 'Royal Flush' that needs a face card. By that I mean most of you folks are FSX/P3D users and I hate to think I'm the only loose cannon.

I am still on FSX and am looking forward to the new MSFS. I don't qualify for a P3D license and I won't lie to get one. I tried X-Plane and hated it.
I am very active at FS Economy and we have FSX, P3D and XP users. The only problem over there is it seems like the XP users all have the attitude that XP is the only Flight Sim out there and the world revolves around them. I know that is not the case here.
Don't worry about being the only XP user, we all like what we like and no of us should feel bad about what we like or feel bad about what anyone else likes.

Actually, I use all 3. I have P3D 3 and 4, FSX Steam, and X Plane 11. Flight sim addict ? Why no,I can quit anytime I want to, really... I also have the new Fly Inside sim, and several combat flight sims.

Old age and boredom seem to be cell mates. FSX was already past its peak with no future in sight and P3D never enticed me so I went with XP. No boredom here - just when you think the ducks are lined up, Maestro Myers decides to try something. Talk about community chaos but I learned a lot computer wise and certainly how to navigate this sim. Graphically I think it's the best and, with Orbx, this has been shown several times. The new kid ready to explode from the womb has attracted many so-called loyalists from the current sims. It provides answers to many users needs and creates a few - problems that is. Band width, numero uno. It has to be streamed and the DSL has to be up there so, if you're out their enjoying the hinterlands, you could have a problem. Personally I like what I've seen of Asobo - deep down we all know that MS isn't really back in the sim business, they're simply in the money business and this 'marriage' may be the boost we all need - since both they and we are hoping so, it's almost a sure thing. We all know about sure things .

I was going to go with X, Dave, until I saw the new MS product. I put it all on hold until I see the new one out there to compare. I am still doing a lot of model building, so they can take their time for a bit longer!

I'm waiting for the new MS sim, too. I agree with Dave that Asobo has done some nifty things with it. I've looked at X-Plane many times but just can't bring myself to try it. It's true that I'm kinda finished with FSX, though, so something has to be done.

I've bought into P3D myself, so sticking there for a while. I have a ton of Orbx and other sceneries, a full stable of all the fancy planes I want (including A2A's recent Cub release for P3Dv4.x) and a few others. So, untiol they shaft me with yet another full purchase for P3Dv5, I'll stick with this one. It runs on my system, and I have fun with it. That's the bottom line.

I'm on the same line of thought as Fritz. I still play around with FSX with Acceleration which works--most of the time, for me. Cheers, Carm.
