85 degrees here today - I'm not ready. Almost fainted putting a new tire on the riding mower - sounds like bonus beverage night to me.

It was 89 here yesterday!!! How did we get to SUMMER already!?!?!?!?! I hate hot weather!

Summers not here in S Ontario yet. Yesterday it was about 65F with winds in the 60- 70+ MPH range, with rain mixed in. My street and house are surrounded by old Sugar Maple trees, so, this morning the street and yards have a lot of limbs from the trees waiting to be picked up. There is one limb, about 2" on the butt sticking upright on my front yard like a Javelin , I'm just as happy I wasn't around when it came down.  Its been a strange Spring here. in S Ontario.  I was talking to my nephew this AM who lives down near London Ont and he said that they lost one side of their roof yesterday. Last year they had 3 large trees blown down on their front yard, one took out their front porch. He said they are beginning to think they have done some thing wrong recently  Cheers, Carm. |

Originally from ID and remember spending all day (in summer not spring) at the old swimming hole as a kid. Of course in those days anything over 80° was thought to be unbearable. Living in sunny FL now I become a hermit in my trusty Air Conditioning starting just about now.
