Majestic has recently released patch 1.009 for the Dash8 Q400. Here's the readme detailing the updates made:
To obtain the patch, you will want to visit either the vendor from whom you purchased the Dash8 (though I see JustFlight still has only the 1.008 base version available for some reason.) Alternately, you can go to the Majestic site's support page (here: majesticsoftware.com/mjc8q400/support.html), click the "User Area" button, then supply your JustFlight order number and email address. Then a page will come up with a valid download link for the 1.009 update (~35mb download.)

Installation:
This patch must be installed over the MJC8Q400 pilot edition version 1.008 base installer, or the updated versions 1.00801, 1.00802 or 1.00803
Fixed issues list since Version 100803 PILOT edition
SYSTEMS:
+ Fixed the "ghost" dme reading for VORs
+ Electrical system: better reconfiguring during abnormal operation
+ Electrical system: fixed TRU loads
+ Electrical system: improved the electrics physical model calculation speed
+ Hydraulic system: better reconfiguring during abnormal operation
+ NavSources: Fixed the Glideslope signal power calculation
+ NavSources: Fixed the Glideslope disappearing during the operation on the runways equipped with 2 sided ILSs operating on the same frequency
+ NavSystem: Added an extra database driver (ACE) if the NAV database fails to open using the default driver
+ SoundSystem: Stick shaker sound is set louder
+ EGPWSSystem: Fixed the green color fill on the ND which sometimes appears during the cruise
FMS:
+ Fixed the overfly functionality
+ Fixes in the approach path prediction
+ Fixes in the VNAV operation to reduce VNAV disengage issues
+ Improved detection of the offset approaches
+ Apon manually changing the VNAV waypoint, subsequent VNAV waypoints will resequence automatically
+ FMS will be able to fly towards the Initial Fix type of waypoint
+ VNAV Approach logic is improved for non-precision and offset approaches
+ Manual Holding will no longer be automatically entered if not manually armed by a pilot
+ Holding VNAV descend speed is set to -1200FPM
+ Implemented negative altitudes indication on the FPL and VNAV pages
APPS:
+ Control Panel: Fixed the problem with 0 DOM on the Weight and Balance page
