Trying to find the right "download" button on the page above was quite a chore. It took me several tries and wrong links clicked before I was able to obtain the actual desired files. I absolutely DESPISE sites that allow so many devious ads placed everywhere.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

This scenery is my Christmas card to say thanks to all those that have helped me while being a member of this community! To all those that answered my questions, pointed me to tutorials, encouraged me when I just couldn’t figure it out, and gave me praise on a job well done, THANK YOU!! NONE of what I have provided for this community could have been possible without your help and support!



WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY AND SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON!!



Tom Taylor grew up loving Christmas; it was his favorite time of year! His family would decorate, invite family and friends over to celebrate and most importantly, share their good fortune with those less fortunate! This tradition carried over to Tom’s own family in later life. After starting a small bed and breakfast in Thorne Bay, AK, people would travel from all around to spend time with Tom and his family. Known by the community as “Tinsel Tom”, Tom Taylor invites you to “ come on over” to share in the hospitality with him and his family!



This scenery is suited for a night setting to show off the nightlighting, to compensate I have added a lighted runway and plenty of night lighting to help with navigation! I also recommend using the wonderful ACTIVE CAMERA with it as well. It totally enhances any FS setting! Will work with or without Ed Denny’s mesh, but looks better with it! For a realistic feel, turn on the cold weather and let the snow blow!



Not sure how this will work on other Video Cards, I am using a G4 Ti 4600 128 MB, and it works great! Hopefully everyone can enjoy it as much as me. Tested on an Athlon 1.4 GIG PC with 1 GIG of DDR, XP pro and the above-mentioned video card with satisfactory FPS.

Installation: Just unzip into a temp folder and place the Tinsel Toms folder with the 2 subfolders (scenery and texture) into your FS2002 ADD ON scenery folder, start the sim, go to scenery library, click add area, find the Tinsel Toms folder, hit OK, click OK again, go fly! You will find it listed in the main menu, under North America > United States > Alaska > Tinsel Toms



This scenery is FREEWARE and is intended to stay that way!

Me neither. I was just wondering who might have remembered it - FS2002 !!! I found the plane my son painted up for it - 15 years ago!!

Yep, remember it. Anyone know how Mike is these days (last I heard, before Inuksuk folded, was he was working on various official Sims mods).
