Looking at the payware planes available for my recent XP11 purchase and spotted this - $19.95 on tundras/regulars with pants/floats.

Close - but it's a Norseman (single wing) . There's an AN2 on the same page.

Well, wadda ya know? But I don't think I'll buy X-Plane just for one airplane. Well, maybe if I could find it real cheap! P.S. I suppose it's real nice, just to twist the knife a bit.

Actually it doesn't appear to be that great - maybe as freeware. This XP11, in default, is a lot like FSX - quality wise. Scenery has some detail but looks really washed out vibrance wise. 'Default' pretty well describes the aircraft. They're having a tough time with FPS but do recognize it's a problem. Any addons right now would be pure drag.

Funny, I'm getting FPS in the 50's. Of course this rig was set up for P3d 4, with an 8gb video card. That probably has a bit to do with it. I have also discovered that it does not like AMD processors. My test rig with W-10 meets the "recommended specs, but wouldn't run the X-11 beta well at all. It runs like a goosed moose on the Intel machine. Sue

I'm almost a dinosaur with an i5 and 900 series. Too bad you can't add RAM to your card as easily as your motherboard. My CPU is supposedly a good overclocker so I may give it a go but I think it's the card/RAM with this sim. Sue, your guitar ownership/playing stats make you the same age as my daughter.
